Historic Charm & Modern Comforts

About The Kendall

Whether relaxing in a Deluxe King room for a weekend getaway or setting up temporary office in a Luxury Suite, all guests can appreciate the inviting ambiance, attentive staff and convenient access to public transportation.

Inside the Kendall, the Black Sheep Restaurant (named after the legendary, motley fireman of Engine 7) serves classic American cuisine, as well as innovative dishes. Guests can enjoy the complimentary, full breakfast buffet served daily, eat lunch and dinner, or enjoy a drink at the full bar. All food is made with the freshest ingredients, and wines and beers are carefully selected from around the country.

Located in the forward-thinking Kendall Square neighborhood, alongside MIT and major tech firms, The Kendall is a piece of preserved history amidst technology. In homage of the independence of the Black Sheep, The Kendall, with Queen Anne-style architecture, remains one of the area’s only 19th century buildings. It is a member of Historic Hotels of America, and on the National Register of Historic Places.
